About Mrs. Sullivan:
Mrs.Sullivan is a native of St. Simons Island Georgia. She spent most of her years as a youth in Syracuse N.Y. It was there that she would first recognize her love for, and need to help those who find themselves at a crossroad in life as a teen. Mrs Sullivan herself is know stranger to how important the right decisions at the right time can be. After spending over a year on the streets at the age of fourteen and encountering countless forms of abuse. She would of her own cognition realize that she would not survive if she didn't act and act quickly. Making the decision to place herself in Foster Care possibly saved her life. However grateful she maybe for those days of solace; it is the days that followed that ignited her commitment to help society understand that intervention-without good intension-is what has failed many of our youth.
Mrs. Sullivan like most teens who age out of foster care found herself back on the streets without many of the tools she would need to become a productive part of our society.  Mrs.Sullivan had not received a high school diploma, counseling or the financial and home making skills she would need to succeed. And after a failed marriage would find herself caught up in the very life she ran from years before.
Mrs. Sullivan survived those obstacles and went on to receive her General Education Diploma from Syracuse University's Equal Opportunity Program. As well as a certification in public relations from Metro School of Arts. Spent twenty- two years in managerial positions. And helped with the personal development of others while working with several youth programs. She presently lives in Atlanta, Ga. with her husband. And continues to ( or has ) work with such programs as C.A.S.A www.gacasa.org  Cleaster Mims College Preparatory School of Cincinnati, OH.

Rainbow House children's emergency shelter www.rainbowhouseinc.org
and From Welfare to Work of Fulton County. She received her certification in Foster Care and childhood behavioral course's and is presently working on two projects of her own to improve communication and conditions for our youth ( more to come). Mrs. Sullivan is an accomplished Realtor and Real Estate owner. She is the author of best selling novel Cucumbers Have Thorns and Snakes Love Strawberries. www.cucumbershavethorns.com
